Curriculum
Play equipment, toys and activities are rotated on a session basis providing, amongst
other things, the means to pursue the 6 Early Learning Goals (as detailed below)
identified by the QCA (Qualification and Curriculum Authority) which supports the
curriculum for the Foundation Stage of your child92s -education and is directed at all
children between the ages of 3 - 6 years.
In order to assess our educational programme on an individual basis your child is
observed and all Supervisors complete an assessment every term. These assessment
forms will be available for viewing and discussion with Tina, Tilly or Rachel every
term upon completion. Once your child leaves PreSchool you will be given these
records and they will be forwarded to your child92s school. If you do not wish these to
be forwarded please inform either of the Supervisors. All records of your child are kept
strictly confidential between the Pre-School Staff and each child's family.
