Registering your Child
For further information on the Pre-School and/or to register your child if you have not already done so please telephone Gail Upham on 01626 832832. -
The Pre-School maintains a waiting list on a first come first served basis and will
try to accommodate you to your specified requirements.
-
It is vital that your child's registration form is kept up to date and any
amendments needed to be done as soon as possible. It is also very important that a
medical form be completed and kept up to date should there be a need for one.
-
Your child will not be able to be left before 9.30am and should remain in the foyer
until greeted by either the Supervisor or Assistant. You are also required to collect
your child promptly.
-
Please provide your child with a spare set of clothes in case of accidents and to ensure
that your child attends the session suitably dressed, with a pair of soft shoes for
indoor play, warm clothes, a coat and boots for outdoor play for the winter and sun
hats and sun cream for the summer as we endeavor to go outside every session
weather permitting.
-
The Village Hall is a Non Smoking area.
-
In case of an emergency when hospital treatment is required the PreSchool reserves
the right to call and ambulance.
-
The Pre-School mobile telephone number is: 07779 691992.
Equal Opportunities
We never have and have no intention in the future of discriminating on grounds of sex,
race, colour or religion. Designated disabled or disadvantaged will be considered for a
place taking into account their individual circumstances and the ability of the
Pre-School to provide the necessary standard of care.
Policy Documents
llsington Pre-School has policy documents covering the following areas:
Admissions, Arrival and Collection, Behaviour Management, Child Protection, Code
of Conduct, Disciplinary, Equal Opportunities, Fire Drill, Grievance, Health and
Safety, Lost Child, Risk Assessment and Special Needs. All of these policy documents
are displayed on the Pre-School notice board and copies are available on request at a
small charge for photocopying.
Security
You can enter the Pre-School by 3 gates which are padlocked from 9.45am onwards for
security reasons. The main entrance and fire doors are alarmed throughout the session
should any child try to leave unaccompanied. Before a child can be left at a session
alone a registration form and medical form when necessary must be completed and
signed by all concerned and updated at any time should the need arise (the Pre-School
is not responsible for any errors on the form). Parents or carers are required to make
either the Supervisor or Assistant aware of your child's arrival and to pass on any
relevant information you feel might be necessary for that session. If your child is to be
collected other than by any person on your child's registration form then a signed
letter must be given to the Supervisor beforehand. On departure from the Pre-School
please make either the Supervisor or Assistant aware that you are leaving. |
